I recently had a hankerin’ for some Jalepeño Ranch and as it doesn’t exist in copious quantities here in Arkansas, I decided to try out Jenny’s Texas Ranch Dip which I found on Leesa’s great recipe site Red Velvet Cafe.
It is a close match to Chuy’s “Creamy Jalepe˜0 Ranch” which made me an extremely happy boy. I eased up a bit on the cilantro compared to the recipe, but that’s just my personal taste.
One note, this stuff gets hotter the longer it sits in the fridge, so the second day it is much better than the first.
