As I mentioned in a previous post, the Washington Redskins have accurately predicted the outcome of the last 17 Presidential elections. So, I gathered with a small group of friends yesterday at a local sports bar to watch the Redskins take on the Green Bay Packers. It was a hell of a game, and was truly up in the air for the final few minutes. For a moment, the tide turned, the Redskins managed to come back from behind, only to have the touchdown reversed after the crowd began celebrating. The Packers took the game, 28 - 14, likely cheering a few superstitious Kerry staffers. So, now we shall wait and see if the Redskins manage to extend their electoral streak for another four years. Should they prove correct, Senator John Kerry will be moving into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue come January.Update: President Bush was re-elected. So ends the string of predictions.
