IPac: Five of Six
Good news on the Intellectual Property front, as five of the six candidates supported by IPac won their races yesterday. The one exception was Brad Carson, who was contesting a tight Senate race in Oklahoma. While these six were the first, IPac is still quite young, and thus didn’t have the opportunity to have a large impact on the ’04 elections. The real focus is on preparing for the 2006 elections. Two years really isn’t all that long to achieve the goals on our list.

Kerry by 14?
As I mentioned in a previous post, the Washington Redskins have accurately predicted the outcome of the last 17 Presidential elections. So, I gathered with a small group of friends yesterday at a local sports bar to watch the Redskins take on the Green Bay Packers. It was a hell of a game, and was truly up in the air for the final few minutes. For a moment, the tide turned, the Redskins managed to come back from behind, only to have the touchdown reversed after the crowd began celebrating. The Packers took the game, 28 – 14, likely cheering a few superstitious Kerry staffers. So, now we shall wait and see if the Redskins manage to extend their electoral streak for another four years. Should they prove correct, Senator John Kerry will be moving into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue come January.
Update: President Bush was re-elected. So ends the string of predictions.
