This is the best breakdown of selectors I've seen. An excellent reference for all Web developers.

Andy's Most Useful Knots
I've had this desire at the back of my mind to re-learn a lot of the knots I've forgotten since my days as a Boy Scout. I'm rather embarrassed that I remember so few of them actually. Andy's collection of knots looks like a great place to start digging in.
Bonus: knots look like a fun way to keep my hands busy while watching TV.
Historic Maps Restored
An amazing selection of historic map reproductions.
Web Performant WordPress
Dave Rupert provides an excellent breakdown of how to speed up your WordPress-powered site. There's no excuse to not spend the time implementing these changes. Even if you're like me, and have already done a lot of the work, I'm willing to bet there's a step or two that will make your site even better. For me, it's the super-duper-easy cut-and-paste improvements to the htacess file to enable gzip and browser caching.
Mixing Typefaces (PDF)
A cross-reference that indicates the degree of compatibility between fonts. This is ideal for selecting combination of fonts for a layout, though I wish it were newer and included a larger set (it was created in 1992).
